School Values: Promotes Belief Creates Success

ANTI Racism statement | Community First Academy Trust stand united against racism, and in our support for anyone who experiences racism.

We will:

  1. Foster an anti-racist culture of understanding across our Trust and outline our Anti Racism and Equalities ambitions within our 2030 excellence in education strategy.
  2. Make clear where responsibility and accountability lie for eradicating racism in all its forms such as through recruitment advertising etc.
  3. Support an anti-racist and curriculum that demonstrates equalities across our schools
  4. Construct systematic, anti-racist development practices
  5. Invest in a diverse workforce as outlined within our excellence in education 2030 strategy
  6. Record and respond effectively to racist incidents in whatever form
  7. Monitor and review organisational race data for example through census returns
  8. Consult with Black, Asian and minority ethnic community partners wherever possible

At Community First Academy Trust and Platt Bridge Community School we are working hard to review our internal data, engage with our community to assess our culture and review our policies; to a culture of all contributing to producing a robust set of actions for us to work towards. It is anticipated that an action plan will form the basis of our Race Equality Charter submission in pursuit of a bronze award in 2022-2023.
